Well, here I am at the end of Week 4 of the free Ignite 30 Day Video Challenge.
20 videos recorded and only 2 left to do. I cannot believe how quickly this challenge has gone and how much I have enjoyed it.
The prompts have been great; they have made me think about my business and the direction I want to take in the future. The focus this week has been more business orientated. I guess getting us used to talking about our business and preparing us for doing videos in the future.
The tips have been very useful. Many of the tips have been for those using a mobile phone and it has been good to see people giving the tips a go. How they have managed to walk, talk and look at the camera on their phone, amazes me! I don’t know how they have done it but I want to give it a go this weekend!
I have not recorded my videos on my phone but used my laptop instead. As I am working in an office, it has been easier to use my laptop and I have managed to keep eye contact with my audience well.
The Facebook group has been very supportive and encouraging. The kind words have helped me a great deal. I never thought that I would enjoy recording videos, let alone sharing them so that people would watch them and provide me feedback. It has pushed me out of my comfort zone and I feel that I can do something if I put my mind to it!
I have really enjoyed this challenge. It is a shame that it is coming to an end. I will be keeping an eye out for the next video challenge that Niamh does and will share the details on my social media accounts.
