Well 2012 is nearly upon us, how has 2011 been for you?
It has certainly been a year of 2 halves for me. I decided to go it alone and set up my own business and after research and various discussions with local businesses, Willow Admin was created in October 2011.
Having worked in administration for over 20 years, I found this an exciting new venture and a very steep learning curve! Working as a small business is a complete change to working in large corporations but in a good way. There are many things to learn and I have gained a lot of advice and support from the local network group (Thurrock Network Group) and small businesses. I have enjoyed meeting new people, gaining new skills at training workshops and more importantly helping businesses with their admin.
It is near the end of my first quarter in business and have got plenty of things to plan and focus on for 2012.
